Q + A

What date do I need to RSVP by?

Monday, April 18, 2025

Where is the ceremony?

Lost Man Creek Trail. The trail is north of Orick, CA just off the Redwood Hwy. You can type the trail name into your preferred GPS app and it should pop right up! But just in case it doesn't, here are the coordinates: 41.32701°, 124.01554°

Who's invited to the ceremony?

Due to the permit constraints of our ceremony location, only the guest whose name is listed first on the envelope your physical invitation arrived in can attend the wedding ceremony (in less, of course, you are our parents!). This may of course change depending on the number of guests who RSVP to attend. We will update you on this once we have received responses from everyone. All guests are invited to the reception following the ceremony and any activities planned throughout our weekend. We know this is odd, but it was the only way we could have all of our favorite people celebrate with us on our special day, while still staying within the National Park Service guidelines for the location we chose. Thank you for understanding!

Where is the reception?

Emerald Forest Cabins & RV 753 Patricks Point Dr., Trinidad, CA 95570

What should I wear?

Semi-formal attire with shoes to walk a trail in!

What weather can we expect there?

The average temperature in Redwood National Park in May ranges from a high of 62° to a low of 41°.

Are our kids welcome?

Unfortunately, due to the small nature of our wedding and limitations on head count for both our ceremony and reception locations, we can not have your little ones join us.

Will there be other activities over the course of the weekend?

Yes! We will have several things planned to do that you may choose to join us on if you arrive in the days leading up to or after the wedding.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #JnKLoveAtFirstHike so we can see them, too!
